Batman: Death of the Family – kolejność czytania

Joker wraca do Gotham City po kilku latach nieobecności. Przed ostatnią ucieczką w mieście z pomocą Dollmakera pozbył się swojej twarzy i wszyscy mieli nadzieję na to, że miasto Nietoperza już nigdy więcej nie będzie musiało znosić czynów Klauna. Wszysy się mylili. Joker wraca, ale tym razem bierze na celownik nie Batmana, a jego sojuszników, którzy jego zdaniem sprawili, że Mroczny Rycerz osłabł, polegając na innych zamiast na swoich umiejętnościach. Alfred, Gordon, Catwoman, Nightwing, Batgirl, Red Hood, Red Robin oraz Robin są w śmiertelnym niebezpieczeństwie!

Tytuł eventu – „Death of the Family”, lub po polsku „Śmierć rodziny” – nawiązuje do innego znanego komiksu z lat 80. – „Death in the Family”, lub po polsku „Śmierć w rodzinie” – w którym to Joker zamordował Jasona Todda, Robina i późniejszego Red Hooda.

Uwaga 1: Chronologia „DotF” jest bardzo pogmatwana i wydarzenia przedstawione w poszczególnych zeszytach mogą być prezentowane niechronologicznie, dlatego jeśli chcecie się poznać całą historię, niezbędne będzie żonglowanie zeszytami lub całymi tomami.

Uwaga 2: Historia ma wiele pobocznych wątków w których przybliżane są relacje poszczególnych członków Batrodziny z Jokerem. Dla wygody czytania te zeszyty, które nie są szczegółowo umieszczone na osi czasu umieściłem pomiędzy wydarzeniami z zeszytów „Batman #16” oraz „Batman #17”, gdyż miedzy nimi następuje pewien przeskok czasowy.
